Food: This project was interesting because you normally don't pay attention to details in your everyday food. We consume food at a glance but never go further. I enjoyed the idea of this project, however I do not eat a variety of foods and rarely get a home cooked meal. This project made me think back to when I had a home cooked meal a year ago and saddens me. This project was interesting in the way it made me think and feel overall about food.
Fall Photos: This project was interesting discovering the colors and way that thing look dead but still beautifully alive at the same time. Some of these photos are taken in the country where I used to live and some from the city n the way the idea of Fall changed was strange. It felt so peaceful in the country but in town it felt busy and you can feel the energy coming off people stressing from upcoming holidays. I really enjoyed the first picture with the blend of the colors in the leaves. The barn in the third has a spooky October tone to it with the yellow and green dead leaves hanging on for dear life.
ABC's of Me: I enjoyed this project more because it was easier to find letters and it involved me going out and exploring town to find them. Personally I would have liked to have put the letters side by side. But the document wouldn't allow me to change the width without the height changing so it all looked funny with all that space. My letter "e" was my favorite because the knot in the tree was shaped like an e so putting it in Black and White brought that out. This project was really fun and definitely gave me a new perspective on the world.
Hands and Feet: This challenge was interesting because I personally get grossed out at the concentration or focus of feet and hands. However getting over it for the project allowed me to see the different poses and ways people posed. These are the tools we use daily and yet we feel uncomfortable when people touch or even take a picture. Society has this image of them as gross but by using compositions of photoshop you can make it art.
